Hawaiian Stylinʻ

Hawaii has definitely been a blessing in our lives. We have really blossomed as a married couple here. I feel so comfortable with my husband. I feel so happy. Our life isnʻt perfect, but it has improved so much. We do all kinds of different things together now. I love my in-laws but I know that being around them, changes my husband. He turns into a total different person. He turns into the "KID" he used to be. I don't know who this "kid" is, It definitely was not my husband. This caused some tension between us. Hey, I know you must respect your parents, but you also have to respect your wife. The bible says... This means that whatever WE agree to as husband and wife comes first. When you are married you are married to each other. Nobody is married to you both. Just a friendly reminder that it is OK to keep some things to yourselves. This transition has been rougher than I thought it was going to be. I have been sick, jet lagged, sick and SUNBURNED!!! I don't mind the last one :)  It has been a crazy week :) Things that have been awesome: 1. My wonderful husband has gotten a job :) He is such an awesome hard worker. 2. The depression is lifting. Its been really awesome being home and with my family and friends. I truly believe in Salt water therapy, this is basically crying or the ocean. BOTH have helped!! 3. I have been so busy this weekend! My Mother in law decided we were gonna make a million pies for church and also, my sister in law comes home on the weekends so we were spending alot of time before my husband and I leave for Maui :) My nephew graduates from high school on friday and also we are moving back to Hawaii :) YAYY Fifita Ohana !!! I keep another blog on my married life to a tongan :) My Married life :) ANYWAYS :) I know it is already Tuesday here in California, but I slept all day because I think im sick. I hardley slept at all this weekend and I was wiped out!! haha I haven't been to the mall at all this weekend or done any real shopping or even window shopping.  So because of that I keep my mind busy by Pinning things on Pinterest! Sorry so late I have been completely busy today :)  Here is a food that i am absolutely obsessed with :) GYROS!!!!!! The best we have found so far in Utah is the south Town mall is a great little Kabob place next to  Panda's express. The Lamb, the veggies, and sauce are absolutely perfect! If you are really nice he will load your gyro with mounds of delicious lamb. He cuts it right off the spit :) I give this a 10 SHAKAS out of 10 :) This is some of the "mountains of lamb". There was so much it fell out !!  Up close and personal with the gyro! LOOK at all that vegetation going on :) *wolf whistles* He couldn't even look at the camera !!!  We found somewhere in here in California that i absolutely love! I didn't take any pictures i literally ate the whole thing in 2 mins. This week I have decided to do a "Way back Wednesday Fashion". I have come to realize that fashion is NEVER really old or new. I know what once was old becomes new, so because we all know that now, maybe, we should just hoard all our clothes because then it could be "vintage". Every other week i will do "Way back Wednesday" and "hump day Wednesday" As i explained, "WBWF" will be looking into the fashions of old. "HDW" is love advice LOL OK Anyways :) Since summer is basically here & i am from hawaii... I am obsessed with bikinis!!!!! Even though I haven't looked good in one since wayyyyyyyy back when. Bikinis & swimwear i just cant keep away !!! ^^^ right here ;)  This all started alooong time ago. Hauoli makahiki hou!! Or happy New Years to you! Oh and happy Valentine's Day ;)  let's see what to share from the state of Utah ? Hmmm... I've changed to a mainland girl. right now it's 32 degrees and its hot to me haha back home man I would've been bundled up in my big blankets all nice and warm . Being in weather that goes down to -1 degrees changes the very molecules in a person haha I am just so mainland now  lmao but the personality is one of an ocean lover and I still yearn for the salt water. I miss home a lot and I miss all the sunshine ;) but home will always be there it's time to focus so I CAN move home some day! Anywho love u all sorry it's been years !!!
